What to know before you rent

  • Most suppliers require drivers to be 21+; drivers under 25 usually pay a young-driver fee.
  • A credit card in the main driver's name is normally required for the security deposit hold; debit-card rules vary.
  • Optional coverage (collision damage waiver, liability, roadside) is offered by the supplier, often at the counter. We are not an insurer.
  • Cancellation terms depend on the rate. Ask your agent for pay-later or free-cancellation rates where available.
  • Tolls, fuel, extra drivers, child seats and one-way fees may be extra. Your agent lists known extras before you book.
